How to Share Custom Shapes

To do this tutorial you will also need Photoshop CS3 - CS4.  You may download a free trial at Adobe.
Remember to save as a .psd file often!
OK, so here's how to shave a custom shape that you made:
1.  Edit > Preset Manager
2.  In the drop-down menu, choose Custom Shapes
3.  First, we will save the set of shapes that you have already loaded.  Left-click on the first shape, then hold the SHIFT key down while you left-click on the last shape.  Then press Save Set, browse to a folder where you want to save it, and give it a name, like default.
4.  Now,  hold the CTRL key down, and click on the shape that you want to save.  The other shapes will still be selected; the one you want to save is not.  Press the Delete key to delete all the other shapes.
5.  Now you should have your one shape left.  Left-click on the shape.  Then click on Save Set.
6.  Give it a name and save the file somewhere where you can find it.
7.  Now we'll reload all the shapes you had before.  Load, and find the default file you had saved before.
